Razuna Installation

Razuna is available in two flavors:

  • Razuna Server:  The Razuna-Server is a standalone Server that can be used to test and deploy Razuna. It is build on the Tomcat J2EE Server and is by far the fastest and easiest way to get Razuna up and running. It is the recommended path to new users.
  • Razuna WAR: The WAR distribution of Razuna run successfully on Jetty, Tomcat and JBoss J2EE servers. It is actually the same as the Razuna Server above but needs some manual configuration and is mostly geared towards System Administrators or if you have a existing J2EE server already deployed.

    I recommend taking a look at TikiWiki too (many useful pieces of information are available by http://rapid4me.com SE). It is a CMS built around a core of wiki functionality, with a lot of functionality and extensibility. It is under very active development and has a large and active community using it. I like the wiki much better than mediawiki. The admin interface provides all configuration options, rather than requiring custom coding. There are robust user and group management features, and all settings and content are stored in a MySQL database. It's definitely worth taking a look.
